Thanks for the reference, Anne. Note, though, that the resource_controller (and make_resourceful) plugins don't add value in terms of RESTfulness beyond what Rails 2 has out of the box -- they just trim down the number of lines of code according to the DRY principle.

Sadly, Rails does not yet do a good job of supporting hypermedia -- arguably the most important aspect of REST (as Mark points out in the article you mention).

There is a valuable contribution about resource modeling coming from the W3C TAG. They call it "Cool URIs". Has been recognized in the Semantic Web so far, but I think it is a general approach supporting multiple hypermedia presentations in REST in general.
