Bindows: Ajax with full Section 508 Support

blogger: Richard Monson-Haefel

Bindows is the only Ajax tool kit that supports Section 508 Web Accessibility for the handicapped. This is big news for government organizations which (without a waiver) are required to support access to their website for the handicapped (mostly the visually impaired). Bindows provides a full set of GUI widgets and even some graphing capabilities. It’s not an especially snazzy looking UI; it sticks to basic Microsoft Windows XP look and feel (L&F). However, that’s not a bad thing; Bindows will be easy for end-users to use because the Windows L&F is familiar to most people.
